For many of us, life has changed drastically over the last two weeks due to the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19. Today, more than one -fifth of the population has been told to stay at home and practice social distancing.

For many of us, working from home means natural activity levels will drop drastically as even minor activity that you might have had during the day such as walking from your car to the office will be cut out. Therefore, it is more important than ever to try to get some type of physical activity.  Remember, the human body was made to move, and inactivity can cause problems such as back pain as it can cause muscles to become stiff. Staying active not only can help immunity but also can help deal with the stress and anxiety that many people are feeling around the globe.

If your city guidelines allow going for a walk, run or bike, try to do so every day but make sure to keep a safe distance from those around you. It is advised to do these activities alone, or at the most, with the people, you live with. If you have a backyard, use it, walk, and make sure the kids take time out to play.
