Dr. Casañas and the Trauma Unit team offers a multidisciplinary approach, and particularly in the diseases of the peripheral nerve and brachial plexus performing assisted-surgery through intraoperative electrophysiological study, with the collaboration of a neurologist before, during, and after the operation.</p> <p><span style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Casañas completed his </span>Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona (1993) and specialized in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology via MIR by the University Hospital of Bellvitge (1989-1993). He later went on to pursue the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 2000.
