About the Doctor
Dr. Abdul Rehman has qualified in 1989 from Sindh Medical College Karachi, Pakistan. After extensive training in clinical cardiology, He did Diploma in Cardiology from National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases Karachi in 1993. After 5 years of extensive training in General Medicine (2years), Non-invasive and Invasive Cardiology (3years) and completion of Research Thesis (2 years) He was awarded Doctor of Medicine in cardiology Degree in 2003 from Zia Uddin Medical University Karachi.
Since 2003 till 2011(10years) he did extensive work in the field of invasive and non-invasive Cardiology including several thousand Coronary interventional procedures and Peripheral Interventions, Nuclear cardiology imaging, echocardiography and stress testing besides management of acute, chronic and complicated cardiology patients on the indoor and outdoor basis as consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Ass. Professor of Cardiology in different major Institutes of cardiology including Zia Uddin Medical University, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases Pakistan. He also played an active role in clinical cardiology teaching and was Clinical Supervisor of Postgraduate cardiology students in Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases.
Since 2011-2013 he worked in Zulekha Hospital Dubai as an Interventional Cardiologist. During his stay in this hospital, he managed acute and chronic cardiology patients and did Primary Coronary Angioplasties for acute myocardial infarction patients, non-invasive cardiology procedures (Transthoracic Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, Treadmill testing, Holter monitoring and Ambulatory BP monitoring etc) and daily attended outdoor cardiology patients.
