About the Doctor / Professional
Dr. med. Armin Helmbrecht has in recent years specialized in microscopically minimally invasive open surgery with the aid of a trocar (sleeve). Among other things, he has modified the rear access to the cervical spine (for the treatment of herniated discs and stenosis) to a finger breiten access. He is also able to treat spinal stenosis in the thoracic spine and lumbar spine using the same technique. As an instructor and visiting surgeon, he is regularly on national and international lecture tours to exchange his new surgical techniques with colleagues.
Differentiated application of highly specialized, minimally invasive surgical procedures on the entire spine, with the aspect of maintaining the function of the movement segment whenever possible.
