Dr. D. C. Doval carries an experience of more than 37 years in Medical Oncology. He specializes in the treatment of solid tumors, with a particular focus on patients with cancers of breast and lung.

During his career he has focused on helping patients manage their symptoms and improving their quality of life. As a part of this effort he has developed new models for the delivery of oncology care that provide medical excellence in settings convenient for patients and their families.

In the field of clinical research, he has participated in more than 60 International and national studies. He pioneered the first Phase 1 study in Oncology in India and has taken up anticancer drug development. He has also been involved in conducting efficacy and safety studies for many indigenously developed biosimilar molecules in India.

Dr. Doval is a recipient of Medical Excellence award by Wockhardt India Limited and Howard medical International in Feb 2005, Chikitsa Siromani Award of International Study Circle in 2008, Panna Lal Oration IMA Aligarh, Chairman’s Award RGCIRC Excellence in Clinical Research 2011.
