About the Doctor / Professional
Dr. Fan Kin Sing graduated in 1980 from University of Malaya. He obtained MRCP from the Royal College of Physician of UK in 1981 and FRCP in 1987. He received his training in Nephrology at HKL and subsequently at the Transplantation Unit of Western Infirmary, Glasgow in 1990.
During his tenure at HKL, he had expressed interest in the management of renal bone disease through the introduction of intact PTH monitoring, serum Aluminium evaluation, desferrioxamine testing and ultrasound-guided injection of enlarged parathyroid glands in patients unfit for surgery.
