Dr. Kumar Salvi

Dr Kumar Salvi is MBBS, MD Pediatric. He is well established Pediatrician and Neonatologist at Fortis Hirandani Hospital with experience of more than 9 years. Dr Kumar has good experience in managing extremely preterm babies, advanced neonatal ventilation and handling neonatal emergencies. Dr Kumar has participated in many National and International Pediatric and Neonatology conferences and workshops.

Teaching Experience:

• 2 years - as Registrar during post graduation in Pediatrics.
• 3 years - as Lecturer in Dept. of Pediatrics Terna Medical College.
• During my residency in Neonatology, I have taught - NICU management of sick neonates, Neonatal Resuscitation, Care of preterm & LBW babies, Care of ventilated neonates, Fluid Therapy, Neonatal Transport and Neonatal reflexes to Undergraduate. I was also involved in training nurses in ward management and NICU Care. I have presented Cases during Bedside Discussions, journal clubs and seminars as part of the combined P.G teaching activity with other institutes. I have participated in ventilation workshop, Kangaroo Mother Care, Humane Neonatal Care and resuscitation workshops.
