Dr. Suhana Yusak

As clinical oncologist, Dr Suhana has several years of experience in treating various cancer patients especially breast, gynecological, nasopharyngeal and lung cancer. She has extensive experience on advanced radiotherapy technique such as Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) for head and neck cancers. Graduated with MBBS (2002) and completed her Masters in Clinical Oncology (2012) both from University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. She registered with the National Specialist Registry Malaysia as Clinical Oncologist since 2015 and at the same time serving as an honorary lecturer and examiner for Masters in Clinical Oncology programme at University of Malaya since 2017.

She has practice her clinical works at Kuala Lumpur Hospital and National Cancer Institute where she initiated the Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) for spine and lung. She collaborated with the urologist to start the prostate brachytherapy services in National Cancer Institute in year 2015. Apart from this she also actively involved in multidisciplinary meeting for oromaxillofacial tumors and panel for nasopharyngeal cancer and other head and neck cancer for the National Chemotherapy Revision, committee member for National Curriculum for Clinical Oncology for University of Malaya, main committee member for development of Post Basic National Curriculum for Radiation Therapist, national project coordinator for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) regional project; Enhancing Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy for Frequent Cancers. She is also actively involved in multiple clinical research and audit activities for oncology services.
