Dr. Albert Alahmar

Dr. Albert Alahmar is a highly accomplished Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and the Head of the Structural Heart Program at Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital, Dubai Healthcare City. He completed his CCST in Cardiology Intervention Training in the United Kingdom in 2011 and holds a Diploma in Cardiology (Honors) from Damascus University (1997). Dr. Alahmar is a recognized expert, with 40 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and contributions to the Oxford Medicine Textbook. He is also a member of both the European Cardiac Society and the British Cardiac Interventional Society (BCIS).

Dr. Alahmar is skilled in advanced structural interventions, including TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) and PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) closure, as well as complex coronary interventions such as CTO (Chronic Total Occlusion) procedures and Atherectomy.
