Dr. Azam Badar Khan has been associated with the Trauma Center of Rashid Hospital in Dubai for the past four years and is an active team member of Polytrauma & Pelvis and Acetabulum. After completing Post Graduation in Orthopedics from the Institute of Medical Sciences (BHU) in Varanasi, India in 2001, Dr. Azam underwent extensive training in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery under Dr. Tuli and Dr. Goel. Later, he did his Registrar-ship in Joint Replacement in Apollo Hospital, New Delhi under Dr. SKS Marya, a leading knee replacement surgeon of North India. Dr. Azam also specialized in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS); Basic Life Support (BLS) and completed a fellowship in Pelvis and Acetabulum from Hospital for Special Surgery, University of Cornell, New York, USA, under Dr. David Helfet.
Dr. Azam has also completed a fellowship in Arthroplasty - Total Knee Replacement and Total Hip Replacement from the Russian Scientific and Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics R.R. Vreden Institute, ST. Petersburg, Russia.
