He obtained his medical degree from Trisakti University in 1992, completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Udayana University in 1998, and pursued further subspecialty training in Fetomaternal Medicine at Padjajaran University from 2006 to 2008. He earned his PhD in Medicine from Padjajaran University in 2010 and further enriched his expertise through an advanced course in fetal medicine and gynecology in Vienna in 2016.
