Dr. Mona Abouseif

Dr. Mona graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt. She trained for three years as a resident Ob/Gyn in Shatby University Hospital where she also obtained her Master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the year 2000. She has more than 20 years of post-speciality experience and she joined Mediclinic in February 2015.

She offers routine antenatal check-ups for low and high risk pregnancies and conducts her deliveries at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital. She also provides postpartum checks, routine gynecology care, well woman check-ups, contraception counselling, subfertility assessment and management, menstrual disorders management (including polycystic ovaries, endometrial and cervical pathologies), menopausal changes, with special interest in aesthetic gynecology. She is committed to the overall wellbeing of women through offering disease awareness and preventative services, especially related to cervical and breast cancer.

• Cosmetic gynecology including non-surgical procedures (vaginal rejuvenation using PRP injection (O shot and G shot)), and surgical procedures (labioplasty, clitoral hood reduction and colpoperineorrhaphy (vaginal prolapse repair))

• Management of menopausal symptoms
• Pap smear and HPV testing
