Dr. Munira Furniturewala

Dr. Munira is a Specialist Gynecologist and Obstetrician with subspecialty in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility with over 22 years of clinical experience caring for women’s health.

She obtained her Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery from the prestigious King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEM) Mumbai and then post graduated in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the reputed TN Medical College, Mumbai, India. She is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (Mumbai).

Dr. Munira has previously worked as a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist in a government hospital in Dubai, UAE. In addition to the range of responsibilities as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, her role also included managing high risk pregnancies.

During the last 15 years she has specialized in Fertility Management and is experienced in providing comprehensive fertility workup and management of couples seeking conception, including advanced assisted reproductive technologies.

Dr. Munira's professional interests include assisted reproductive treatments, Ultrasound guided operations, Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy and Obstetric & Gynec ultrasounds.
