Dr. Naima Ben Moussa

Dr Ben Moussa graduated from the Medical University of Tunis in 2007. Discovering a love of Ophthalmology, she specialized in ophthalmic surgery and the treatment of pediatric and degenerative diseases of the eye. She did her fellowship in retinal disorders and macular degenerations at the prestigious University Department of Ophthalmology – Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal de Créteil, one of the highest volume centres in France specialized in degenerative and hereditary retinal diseases and in research concerning these conditions. She obtained her Diploma in Retinal Imaging and Macular Treatment from the University of Paris. She has trained in refractive surgery at the Ophthalmology Department of Rothschild Foundation of Paris under some of France’s most eminent consultant eye surgeons and obtained her diploma of phacoemulsification and refractive surgery from the University of Bordeaux and the University Sabatier of Toulouse, France. Dr Ben Moussa has also taken advanced training in in-situ corneal excision surgical techniques at the Mid-West Eye-Banks in the USA, which is renowned for its dedication to the restoration of sight She has been published and peer reviewed in several publications and international Ophtalmology journals and has presented several studies at international medical conferences.
