About the Doctor / Professional
Dr. Umit Filiz was born in France in 1969. After he finished Izmir Mudafaai Law Middle School and Bornova Anadolu High School, he won Ege University Medical Faculty. After he specialized in Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in Celal Bayar University Medical Faculty in 2001 he established ENTO Ear, Nose and Throat in Alsancak with Op. Dr. Denizhan Ozkaya.
In 1998 Op. Dr. Umit Filiz worked in Austria Vienna University Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic as a guest statue who also speaks English and German.
He is member of Turkish Ear Nose Throat Head Neck Surgery Association, Turkish Ear Nose Throat Head Neck Surgery Foundation, Turkish ENT Facial Plastic Surgery Working Group, Turkish Sleeping Research Association and Europe Sleeping Research Association Aeronautical Medical Association.
He has been given “Flight Physician” certificate (8th of October – 16th of November 2001) in Eskisehir Aerospace Medicine Physiological Education Course by air force. His specialties are aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery and snoring and apnea surgery.
