After completing his graduate medical studies in India, Dr. V. J. Sebastian underwent further training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology in the United Kingdom. Following this, he trained at famous hospitals like Royal Postgraduate Medical School, London, Hammersmith Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, and St George’s Hospital in London. He undertook further training regarding Hypertension in the famous Mayo Clinic Minnesota, USA and CT Coronary Angiography in Wisconsin Heart Centre, Milwaukee, USA
With an experience of more than 35 years, Dr. Sebastian holds the Fellowship of all the three Royal Colleges of London, Edinburgh and Glasgow and that of Ireland. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiologists.
Dr. Sebastian has had a wide and varied experience working in 4 different countries and geographical regions and their demography. Prior to joining Prime Hospital, he worked in the National Health Service in the United Kingdom, and the Ministry of Health Brunei, Darussalam. He is responsible for the first full-fledged Heart Centre in the private sector of the UAE.
