Dr. Jordi Coromina, otolaryngologist at the Centro Médico Teknon Grupo Quirónsalud, is a leading expert in ear, nose, and throat diseases. He leads a team of 20 people and is a laser specialist, given his experience in tonsillar reduction in pediatrics using carbon dioxide laser. The ENT Unit he heads is equipped with the most advanced technology in applying laser to different ENT areas.
Doctorate in Medicine with cum laude distinction, has authored about 41 national and international publications, winner of the César Bertrán Award given by the Spanish Society of Otolaryngology and the Award of the Catalan Society of Pulmonology. He has undergone training at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester), Boston Children's Hospital, House Ear Institute (Los Angeles), Gruppo Otologico (Piacenza) and The Peyronnie Hospital Complex (Montpellier).
Dr. Coromina is a laser specialist and teaches this subject in the annual postgraduate course at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). He is also a professor in the University Masters in Orthodontics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), at the Speech Therapists School of Catalunya, at the School of Language Pathology (UAB) and in the "Detection of learning problems in children” course.
