Dr. Kaan Okan Erdem obtained his medical degree in 1990 from Selcuk University in Konya, Turkey. Subsequently, he spent his compulsory years as a general practitioner, family doctor and military service in Turkey. He came to Hungary for ophthalmology specialist training and had the opportunity to spend his residency years among very experienced teachers and staff at SOTE I Ophthalmology Clinic in Budapest. In nearly six months, he learned Hungarian in order to be able to communicate with patients.
Dr. Kaan is a member of the Hungarian Society of Ophthalmologists. He specializes in the field of eyelid and eye lesions and has several years of international experience. In his practice, there have been a significant number of cases, from eyelid changes in young children (due to birth defects), to interventions related to the correction of sagging lower or upper eyelids, our specialist has extensive experience in related interventions and operations.
