He has received several awards, including the AGA-Gastroenterology Research Group (AGA-GRG) Fellow Abstract award, in addition to multiple plenary presentations for three organizing societies (The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), The Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT), and The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) at the Digestive Disease Week conferences. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on acute pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, and immunoglobulin 4-related diseases, in addition to the biliary module of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Self-Assessment IX (GESAP IX) for the ASGE. His research focused on therapeutic endoscopy in pancreatitis and its spectrum, including walled-off necrosis, cholangiocarcinoma, and pancreatic cancer, as well as the utility of post-imaging processing, molecular analysis, and scoring systems to improve management of these conditions.
