After completing Post Graduation in Orthopedics from the Institute of Medical Sciences (BHU) in Varanasi, India in 2001, Dr. Azam underwent extensive training in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery under Dr. Tuli and Dr. Goel. Later, he did his Registrar-ship in Joint Replacement in Apollo Hospital, New Delhi under Dr. SKS Marya, a leading knee replacement surgeon of North India.
